In the second half, Hollingshead scored his career-high-tying sixth goal of the season in the 52nd minute. He slam a right-footed shot to the top center of the net to brought the 20th victory of the season for LAFC.
Houston Dynamo slides through the 13th seed in the Western Conference with the record of 9-6-17. Corey Braid is the only player score in this match with Dynamo having underwhelming record under interim coach Kenny Buddy.
Last August 14 was the biggest and the most dominated win by the LAFC as they routed Charlotte 5-0. The team will next face the fifth seed Portland and is also consider as a championship contender.
