The contract deals, which include global television and digital rights, were acquired for an astronomical INR9.51 billion or $116.4 million and valued each match at $868,000 as Viacom18 toppled the other bidder Disney Star. For accurate live match online odds here!

In an interview, Jay Shah, the honorary secretary of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), told that the WIPL would “revolutionize the women’s cricket not just in India but across the globe.” He also added that ‘the broadcaster play a key role in taking the game to a wider audience and their active interest in the league is a clear indication that the Women’s Indian Premier League is headed in the right direction.”
