Manchester United reaches Europa League Quarter Finals

In the recent nervy encounter with Russian minnows FC Rostov, Man Utd dominated at the Old Trafford to continue their way on the next Europa League competition.

However, it didn’t come quite easy for Jose Mourinho’s squad to find goal in hopes to take aggregate advantage into the second leg of battle against the opposition.

The match was frustrating for United who took control of the game but squandered at the chance of increasing score.

The host’s greatest opportunity came in the second half as Juan Mata got the decisive goal when he stabbed in from Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s flick.

Despite the win, Mourinho still has a lot of improving to do if they are to go all the way in the competition.

On a different note, Manchester United’s victory came at price as the club losses Paul Pogba and Daley Blind to injury.

United boss disclosed that it’s tough playing with only 10 men, even more difficult at the moment, but he knew that the days ahead are about to get seriously austere.

With a tightly secured victory over FC Rostov, United are next in action when they travel to the home ground of Middlesbrough this coming Sunday.
