Sevilla have announced the signing and arrival of Spain striker Nolito from Manchester City to Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan Stadium for undisclosed fee, but rumors say that it is somewhere in the region of £7.9m.

Nolito has earlier expressed his frustration in the English Premier League due to an underwhelming season at Etihad Stadium.

He said, “I am under contract, so the club will decide, but I want to leave. I haven’t played in six months. I will do everything possible to make Spain’s World Cup squad.”

The Spanish international made a promising start at City. He was able to score five goals out of his first nine appearances but Leroy Sane stole the show when the latter pulled off impressive stunts in the second half of the club’s campaign.

This later fueled his decision to return to La Liga given that Sevilla have set their eyes on the 30-year-old football figure.

On the lighter side, Nolito has already taken a medical with Sevilla last weekend and is now expected to join the squad of Eduardo Berizzo. The team is headed to Japan for their pre-season tour.
