Celtic face worst home defeat as PSG scores 5

Neymar, Kylian Mbappe, and Edinson Cavani were the prime contributors who lifted Paris Saint-Germain to 5-0 victory over Celtic on Sunday’s Champions League group stage at the Celtic Park, Glasgow.

Celtic suffered heaviest match loss at home when they hosted the Giant European football club, PSG. The Celts have had a difficult time restraining the visitors from scoring after Neymar compellingly took his side in lead at the 19th minute.

Mbappe, doubled the Parisians’ score as he fired past the helpless goal keeper, Craig Gordon. And Cavani scored his side’s third goal by converting a penalty few minutes before the half time.

With three goals already, Brendan Rodgers’ men are left under pressure. However, when the game restarted, Rodgers’ men performed a little better than in the first half. Unfortunately, defender Mikael Lustic has put through his own goal making it four goals for the visitors.

Unai Emery’s men became even more unstoppable. The speed, decisiveness, and creativity of Parisians were truly extraordinary. They also showed confidence on the ball even when playing very difficult passes.

At the 85th minute, Cavani took the opportunity to strike again and seal the match in 5-0.

The club, Paris Saint-Germain are hosting Lyon on the 17th of September (check out the best betting odds).
