Aaron Ramsey has received an offer from Arsenal and suggested that he will be staying after Unai Emery’s appointment as the next manager of the club.
Prior this, the star player has been in numerous negotiations with the north London club over a deal that have yet to reach an official agreement.
The Wales international is entering his final 12 months at the Emirates Stadium and supposedly about to leave on a free transfer next summer.
However, following the draw in Pasadena, Ramsey said he was excited by the appointment of the former Sevilla and Paris St-Germain boss Unai Emery to replace Arsene Wenger.
“I haven’t spoken to him [Emery] at all yet, but I think it’s an exciting time for the club and I can’t wait to get back there now,” said Ramsey.
After a £4.8m move from the Bluebirds in 2008, Ramsey has lifted the FA Cup three times, twice scoring the match-winning goal at Wembley.
Wales manager Ryan Giggs believes that Emery’s arrival could improve the player who finished the game against Mexico as captain following Ashley Williams’ first-half injury.
In a statement of Gidds, he expressed: “He’s only played under Arsene at Arsenal and I look at it positively that a new manager could come in and improve him, improve already a quality player.”
