Despite losing two-time MVP Stephen Curry early in the first quarter of the game, the Golden State Warriors was able to pull out a win as they rallied past against San Antonio Spurs with a 110-107 home victory at the Oracle Arena, Oakland California.
Curry tweaked his right ankle in less than three minutes into the game after he rose for a layup, with Dejounte Murray and LaMarcus Aldridge defending him.
The All-Star point guard was fouled by Murray as he landed awkwardly to Murray’s foot and then left the court at the 9:38 mark after he shoot the two free throws and never returned.
”We still have three All-Stars when Steph goes down. We still have a lot of talent.” Warrior coach Steve Kerr stated
Kevin Durant led the Golden State with a game-high 37 points and 11 rebounds, including his 14 straight points in the fourth quarter, to help the team win.
In addition, Draymond Green finished a triple-double 11 points, 12 boards and 10 assists for his third of the season while Klay Thompson and Javale McGee each scored 13.
Meanwhile, Kerr announced that Curry will miss the Warriors’ two-game road trip over Portland Trail Blazers and Minnesota Timberwolves and will join Andre Iguodala, David West, Jordan Bell and Patrick McCaw to the sidelined with injury. (Sign Up now for more updated news and sports events)

LaMarcus Aldridge guided the Spurs with 30 points and 17 rebounds but still fell short to beat the Warriors.
