With almost a week before the league announced the 2022 – 2023 NBA season calendar, but there are rumors already spread throughout the NBA about the full Christmas Games scheduled to be headline by the champion Golden State Warriors, Boston Celtics, Dallas Mavericks, Lakers, Suns, Nuggets, and the Milwaukee Bucks all rumored to have game schedule on Christmas Day according to various insiders like Marc Stein and Shams Charania.

Marc Stein reveals on his official twitter account, that the first draft of the schedule for the next season of the NBA, includes a matchup of Lakers/Lebron at Dallas/Luka on Christmas games. This schedule is still subject to change as the full schedule will be released next week.

Lebron James x Luka Doncic

The matchup of the current King of the league over the new face of the NBA, Luka Doncic is one heck of a matchup. This is the matchup where the new face of modern NBA again proved himself to the considerable GOAT of the current generation and the greatest basketball player after Michael Jordan.

Last season, the Dallas Mavericks made a notable trade by sending their starting center Kristap Porzingis to Washington Wizards in exchange of Davis Bertans and Spencer Dinwiddie – and in last playoffs they made an impressive deep run by ousting Utah Jazz in Game 6, then facing the first seeded Phoenix Suns and eliminating them in seven games with the infamous 57 – 27 score at the end of the first half – thanks to Luka’s superstar performance with Kalen Brunson and Spencer Dinwiddie’s jaw-dropping performance. In Western Conference Finals, they lost to the Golden State Warriors in five games.

On the other side of the coin, the Los Angeles Lakers had a disappointing performance last season. They were plagued by injuries and lack of chemistry. After the arrival of Russel Westbrook, the teams faced poor shooting added by absence of a reliable center inside the paint like Anthony Davis and poor defense that resulted in an 11th placed finish, not reaching the playoffs and even the play-ins. Now, the Lakers are expected to have a redemption season and once again predicted to make it to the playoffs frontlined by Lebron James, Russel Westbrook, and a healed Anthony Davis.
