Cristiano Ronaldo’s best game so far

The 37 year-old recorded his first Premier League goal of the season and became the key to delivering a much-needed win for his club and reaching the peak in the history of football, setting himself to a unique place and unbelievable milestone.

Despite Ronaldo’s struggle this season – with a series of rumors (official and unofficial) of him badly wanting to exit the team and look for better opportunities. His career is still considered as one of the best, if not the greatest.

Currently, in spite of denying that his age is coming into him, he played for Man United with a limited opportunity (coming off the bench). In this game against Everton, Ronaldo saw his opportunity after Anthony Martial’s injury. The 37-year-old did not waste it, helping United seal the game before halftime break and scoring his first Premier League goal of the season.

Anthony Martial Injury update

Manchester United Manager Erik ten Hag released an injury update on forward Anthony Martial during a 2-1 win over Everton. The Frenchman helped the Red Devils to level the score early in the first half at the 15th minute mark. He denied the momentum of the home squad after Alex Iwobi scored a goal just five minutes into the match.

Martial was brought on the bench for Ronaldo as Ten hag confirmed (after the match) that the forward has a new injury. “I don’t think so (it is the same injury).” Ten Hag confirmed to BT Sport. “It’s something different. He had a problem in his back, he was important, assisting for Anthony’s goal so we’re happy with that.”

Ten hag talked about the impressive performance of the team in general, he gave a high praise on how the team stayed composed (despite Everton drawing the first blood), stayed in the game, and followed the good formation that led to Red Devil’s collective great performance.

“I think especially in the first-half, it was pressing well. We came out and it was difficult for them to come in the game, the game is to get switches and a lot of crosses. We didn’t allow that. I’m happy about that.”

“You seen during the game how important he [Ronaldo] is. How composed he is, winning a lot of balls, winning the ball for the goal of Cristiano Ronaldo. So good performance. Once again, we’re happy with all the subs coming on, Cristiano making the winning goal, clear, also Scott [McTominay], Rapha [Varane], in the end four difficult situations and you seen how important Rapha is with his heading capacity,”Ten Hag told from a reliable Sports news.
