Gary Harris led Denver Nuggets past Thunder 127-124

Denver Nugget pulled off a hard-fought 127-124 home win against Oklahoma City Thunder at the Pepsi Center.

It was a thrilling and dramatic game indeed. In fact, the Nuggets blew their 20-point lead against the Thunder and both teams were in a 124-124 deadlock situation when All-Star guard Paul George hits a step-back three.

However, Denver never backed down and burned their final timeout of the game to planned things out.

With 1.4 seconds remaining in the 4th quarter, Nikola Jokic inbounded the ball and made a perfect cross-court pass to Gary Harris and lift the team as he buried his winning three-point basket at the buzzer that capped off the victory.

“Joker threw a helluva pass and I was able to get off a good look. It felt good. I knew it was going in.” Harris stated after the game

Jamal Murray led the Nuggets, who had lost two previous matches by a total of three points after they missed last-second shot, with his 33 points.

Meanwhile, Jokic had his ninth career triple-double, third this season with 29 points, 14 assists and 13 rebounds while Harris finished 25 points.

On the other hand, George led all the scorers with a season-high 43 points while Russell Westbrook contributed 21 assists with 20 points and nine rebounds.
