Diego Costa no longer needed at Chelsea FC

Chelsea striker Diego Costa claimed that manager Antonio has no longer any plans for him in the club.

“I am a Chelsea player, but they do not want me there,” said Costa who scored 20 goals in 35 Premier League games.

The striker who had a bad relationship with coach this season also added, “Antonio Conte has told me by message that I do not follow at Chelsea and that’s it. Conte said he did not count on me for the next season.”

Brazil-born player who has signed up for the Blues from Atletico Madrid suggested that he might be open to a return despite the fact that the La Liga club has been banned from signing players until the January transfer window.

“It would be nice to go back, but it’s difficult to be four or five months without playing. It’s a World Cup year and there are many things to think about. I need to play, just that,” Costa revealed.

The 28-year-old who is on international duty has also been linked with a move to Chinese Super League but made clear of his reluctance to move to China.
