After his success by bringing the Premier League title to Chelsea in his first season in England in 2016/17, boss Antonio Conte has expressed his desire to return to Italy in the near future.
According to Conte, who was rewarded immediately with a new two-year contract in the summer, he misses his homeland and it is doubtful that he will spend the rest of his coaching career abroad.
“For me, I do miss Italy and this I can say without any doubt, there is certainly no thought in my mind of remaining abroad for a long time. Italy is my country so, once I’ve had a good, learning experience, I will return to Italy. I don’t know when it will be, but I’ll come back. It’s always hard to predict the future, especially for us coaches because it’s one of the riskiest jobs around — today you are in one place, tomorrow you are in another because you are dependent on results. As far as I am concerned, I always want to finish a project and for things to go the right way, but if you ask me if I miss Italy, then yes I do miss Italy, this is a matter of fact.” Conte said

In addition, the 48-year-old Italian coach has also won three Serie A titles during his time at Juventus.
Conte is also planning to change roles and try something new as his experience helps him to improve in so many ways.
“Maybe I’d like to try something different, maybe be a director or something else. Become a sporting director? I could.” Chelsea coach added
Moving forward, the Blues is now up to the third spot with 13 points in the Premier League table after their 4-0 win against Stoke City.
