Arsenal and Chelsea played out a very entertaining match in the International Champions Cup at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin, Republic of Ireland.

Going back, Chelsea was totally in controlled throughout the fixture after Antonio Rudiger scored and took the lead inside five minutes of the first half.
In addition, Alvaro Morata had the chance to double the lead from the penalty but Arsenal’s goalkeeper Petr Cech comfortably saved it.
In fact, Maurizio Sarri’s men were almost look destined to take the victory. However, Alexandre Lacazette (90+3) forced the game into the penalty shootout as he was in the right place at the right time from Reiss Nelson’s low cross.
“Yeah, it was a great finish to the game. I should have scored before when I had the chance but it’s OK, I scored and helped the team to go to the penalties, and we won, so we’re happy. The cross [for the equalizer] came to me very fast and with a rebound, so I didn’t know where it was going to be! It was really an exciting battle, indeed after both sides scored their first five in the penalty area until Chelsea’s Ruben Loftus-Cheek shot was blocked by Cech again before Alex Iwobi of Arsenal sealed the deal.
Meanwhile, with less than 10 more days to go, the Gunners are hoping that they could all be ready for the upcoming 2018/19 Premier League opener against the reigning champions Manchester City on August 12, Sunday – 11:00 PM at the Emirates Stadium.
