Team Analysis:

Japan (HOME)

Heading to the final round of the 2019 AFC Asian Cup, Japan is now the tournament favorites after their commanding 3-0 semifinals performance against Iran at the Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium. The win that seal their fifth AFC Asian Cup final since 1992 came from Yuya Osako’s two convincing goals on target and followed by Genki Haraguchi’s goal at the end of regulation to complete the rout in a convincing fashion. Four previous meetings in the AFC Asian Cup have produced one win for reach team, with the other two matches ending in stalemates. Qatar won the first Finals encounter between the sides, defeating Japan 3-0 in the Samurai Blue’s first appearance in 1988, before a 1-1 draw in Lebanon in 2000, a result which was repeated in Hanoi seven years later. Japan won the most recent meeting between the sides, knocking Qatar out of the 2011 AFC Asian Cup they hosted with a 3-2 quarter-final win.

Both teams showed an impressive performance in the AFC Asian Cup. In fact, they have been better all throughout the contest, showing their excellent defensive discipline. Overall, we can already foresee a very interesting game tomorrow and they will be tested in the final round.

When the teams last met, Japan won by three goals to two since their last fixture in 2011. Tomorrow’s match will be the first renewal and neither team will surely want to concede the first goal as they know that there will be a big possibility that it could lead to the only score of the game. This is going to be a special occasion, so start your journey on 12BET!
